Alex Orea is a queer Mexican American filmmaker and multidisciplinary creative based in Los Angeles, working across narrative film, music videos, art direction, and visual storytelling. His work explores identity, culture, desire, and memory through cinematic worlds that blur the personal, cultural, and surreal. 

 

Drawn to world-building and character-driven storytelling, he creates visceral imagery grounded in humanity, moving between the intimate and the ambitious. With over nine years of experience, he has led creative projects from concept through production and post-production for brands including Nike, Apple, Netflix, Paramount+, Beats by Dre, and Adobe.
